a little bit of toyama.
Toyama was my favourite part of my whole trip - mainly because I was able to spend 10 days with my brother and his beautiful family (although he'll argue because it was of the delicious sushi that I ate while there - he made sure that my "last bite" in every meal was a negitoro bite - food pictures from Toyama to come). Toyama and Himi (a close by city that we went to as well) are known for Japan's tastiest and freshest fish and shellfish, as it is right by the Japan sea. I never thought I would notice such a difference in the quality of the fish but it was so extreme to me that I did. For the 10 days, hours was spent eating, laughing, chatting all night and enjoying the nature and beauty of Toyama.
