inventory magazine.

Inventory Magazine launched their 5th issue a couple weeks ago, and held a nice personal dinner at Nelson the Seagull for family and friends. We enjoyed South African inspired food and drank wine, while chatting over a family style table. I am so proud of Ryan and the rest of the team at Inventory! This issue can be bought on their online store here or at any of the places listed here.

The one picture of me was taken by Ryan.

French onion soup with Nelson's homemade ciabatta grilled with Boerenkaas cheese Vegetarian Babotie (mine was vegetarian, but lamb was an option as well) - a South African curried moussaka style meal, where we added banana and coconut. SO DELICIOUS. Baked malva pudding with Cointreau and clotted cream

I kind of love this.

This is the ideal kind of dinner party. it's minimal and deliciously appointed and sumptuously entertained.

The magazine sort of reminds me of Monocle... the design and everything. The only difference, really, is the white covers.
