My mom's cooking always leaves me full and very satisfied. She quickly whipped up two kinds of soups from scratch: lentil with roasted garlic, and a tomato black bean soup with fresh cilantro. Afterwards we had grilled salmon with roasted sesame seeds on top of quinoa, a side of rapini with garlic, as well as roasted yams, carrots and red peppers. Hearty and delicious.
