I spent the last few days in Victoria... and forgot my charger for my computer and phone. As soon as I realized it, as I was boarding the ferry, I actually was so happy. No phone, no computer, just my family, friends and my book. And that's exactly how I spent the weekend.

September is here... I cannot believe how fast this summer has gone by (perhaps the delayed arrival of sunshine in Vancouver has made it feel all the more fleeting). Fall does happen to be my favourite season, and I am so excited to wear wool sweaters, boots, leather, and layers of cozy knits that the sun would never allow me to wear. In addition - some exciting news (maybe just for myself) is that I am going to be travelling to Japan, Singapore and Malaysia for the month of November. I was supposed to go back to Nepal, but plans always change and I am happy that I get to travel somewhere amazing and still see some of my family.
