Although this Margaret Howell sweater is made for men, it still fits me perfectly! It is my favourite sweater in my closet right now, and the mushroom colour goes with everything - from my tights while lounging, to work pants during the week. Made with cashmere and merino wool, it is definitely one of the softest pieces I own, and when Ryan is wearing his at the same time, hugs are definitely a lot cozier!

daydreamers.

These are my favourite new pair of pants. I got them at Topshop, and they are so comfortable and surprisingly go with nearly everything. These pictures were taken a couple minutes before it started to rain so it was very grey out, and the lovely blue colour of the pants did not come through in photos as does in person.

eggs and avocado.

Eggcellent breakfast. All you need (1 serving):
1 whole wheat English muffin, toasted.
half an avocado
1 free range egg, fried over easy
dill cream cheese (mix cream cheese and chopped up fresh dill)
little bit of butter for one of the halves that will be topped with avocado (optional)
sea salt and cracked pepper to taste

You can either put it together as a sandwich, or have it separately (what I did).It's a simple and fresh way to get healthy fats and protein in your breakfast, enjoy!

A beautiful friend, inside and out. If anyone wears black exceptionally well - it's Hayles. While it's more of my go-to when I don't know what else to wear, a simple black outfit is always a classic look, and can transform with the addition of accessories such as a statement necklace, or a pop of colour. I also think combining different fabrics and shapes when wearing one shade, really makes the outfit stand out that much more.

P.S. If only we had the same size feet, I would be borrowing the amazing Tory Burch boots that she is wearing in the pictures here.

braided.

I tried a new braid hairstyle that I got off of Julia's video tutorial from Gal Meets Glam. Unfortunately, I didn't have any bobby pins in the house and within 20 minutes it had fallen out... I just left it as a loose braid. My hair styles really switch just between leaving it all down or wearing it up in a bun, so having 2 different braid styles within half an hour was pretty exciting.
